Activities Offered By The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas Resort

LAS VEGAS STRIP
Shuttle service is offered between Lake Las Vegas Resort and the Las Vegas Strip. The Lake Las Vegas Resort daily shuttle, serving multiple Lake Las Vegas destinations including The Ritz-Carlton, operates to the Strip approximately every two hours. The $30 per-person daily fare allows for unlimited transfers on day of use. Reservations are required through The Ritz-Carlton Concierge.

GOLF

• The Falls Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort

Designed by Tom Weiskopf and offers an unparalleled golfing experience.  The front nine and the back nine of this 7,250 yard, par 72 course are very contrasting.  The first nine offers traditional desert golf with play in and around small canyons and arroyos while the back nine features over 400 feet in elevation change with dramatic views and scenery.  The par-five 12th hole offers perhaps the best view of the Las Vegas Strip anywhere, as well as a view from well above Lake Las Vegas.  There is a water in play on five holes total.  There are five sets of tee boxes to provide a variety of options for players of different abilities.

• The Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas

Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, is also available for our guests to enjoy.  The 7,261-yard, par-72 course offers beautiful views of Lake Las Vegas, along with three waterfalls and plays around arroyos and water.  Reflection Bay also is home to a driving range and the Golf Institute of Lake Las Vegas.

STARGAZING
Gaze into the heavens.  Timeless moments under the night sky have motivated scientists, artists and other great thinkers throughout time. Let the magnificence of the Lake Las Vegas night sky take you to faraway places.  For all stargazing sessions, we will be using Meade Instruments GPS Telescopes.
  
Night Sky
During this activity you will enjoy an evening with the stars, guided by our resident astronomers on a journey through the Nevada sky.  Our astronomers will highlight the many constellations that shine down upon the Southwest.

Stars and S'mores
Since the beginning of time, stars have provided us with dreams and imagination.  Join us for an evening of campfire tales and delicious s'mores as we embark on a journey into the heavens.

Stars and Cigars
Sophistication at its finest.  Sit back and unwind with a glass of cognac and your favorite cigar under a blanket of stars.      

Name a Star
Give the gift that will last for a lifetime.  Imagine your little piece of the cosmos.  We will use the International Star Registry for the location and registration of your star.  This can be done in conjunction with all of our stargazing activities.  Perfect for engagements, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, christenings and other special occasions.  

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
HIKING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING TRAILS
Located in the majestic hills of the Nevada desert above Lake Las Vegas, many nearby trails are perfect for hiking and mountain biking.  These trails can be experienced on your own or with one of our experienced guides.

The Lake Las Vegas Loop
A 3.5-mile loop around the Lake Las Vegas community, and a must for the morning or evening walker.  You will have a captivating view of the residential area of Lake Las Vegas.

Wetland Park Trail
Experience the beauty of this trail that only nature can create.  This wetland filled with plant life is unique to the Nevada Desert.

GUIDED MOUNTAIN BIKING ACTIVITIES
With the use of full suspension mountain bikes, you will have the opportunity to ride with our recreation guides or on your own.  

GUIDED HIKING
Allow one of our experienced guides to take you on a timeless journey through one of our specialty hikes in the neighboring mountain terrain of Lake Las Vegas.

Morning Walk
Join us for this "express" 3.5 mile walk. Your senses will awaken with the timeless silence of the dawn.  

Night Walk
End your day with our 3.5 mile walk under a veil of stars.  Unwind from the stresses of the day.  

Wild Wild West
A true western adventure through the Lake Las Vegas terrain in search of "Bugsy's Gold."  Recommended for all ages.

OTHER RECREATION
Times vary based on activity.  Beach toys and board games available.

Rock Climbing
Travel to beautiful Red Rock Canyon for this all-day event.  Our private instructors are available for individual or small group settings.  Test yourself mentally and physically as you reach new heights.  Whether you have climbed many routes or this is your first time, our instructors will create a climbing excursion to fit your abilities.
